PawGuidely exists for one reason: to help you buy the right thing for your pet the first time. Pet gear is full of lookalike products, confusing sizing and five-star reviews that don’t tell the whole story. We do the digging so you don’t have to.
What We Do
We publish buying guides, size charts and how-to guides for dog and cat gear: crates, harnesses, beds, litter boxes, feeders, grooming tools and more. Each guide compares a small number of well-reviewed products, explains who each one is best for, and is honest about the downsides.
How We Research
- Specs first. We check manufacturer sizing, materials, weight limits and safety information for every product we recommend.
- Independent testing. We read hands-on testing reports from experienced reviewers and, where they exist, independent certifications such as the Center for Pet Safety’s crash-test program.
- Owner feedback. We look for patterns across owner feedback, especially recurring complaints that product listings don’t mention.
- Plain language. We explain trade-offs clearly, so you can choose what suits your pet and your home.
We don’t claim to have tested every product in person, and we’ll tell you when a recommendation is based on research rather than hands-on use.
What We Don’t Do
- We don’t give veterinary advice. For anything about your pet’s health, please talk to your vet.
- We don’t accept payment from brands to include or rank products.
- We don’t publish fake reviews or invented testing.
